Mrs. Nena Schutter serves as the Head of Academy at Revelation Christian Academy, providing visionary leadership and guiding the academy’s mission of developing spiritually grounded, academically prepared Christian leaders. Through her leadership, she has helped establish the school’s educational philosophy, cultivate its Christ-centered culture, and shape the long-term direction of the academy.

Mrs. Schutter holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Neuroscience and Psychology from the University of Missouri and pursued medical studies before answering God’s call into Christian education. Her professional background includes teaching at the University of Missouri, serving as a research specialist with the Stroke Management and Rehabilitation Team (SMART) at Washington University, and working in medical sales specializing in respiratory health for both adults and children.

Her passion for education is rooted in the belief that schools must do more than provide academic instruction, they must develop the whole student spiritually, intellectually, and morally. Through her deep involvement in her children’s private school education, Mrs. Schutter gained a strong appreciation for intentional teaching, academic excellence, and the importance of a Christ centered learning environment.

Mrs. Schutter played a foundational role in developing Revelation Christian Academy’s curriculum and continues to guide the academy’s academic and spiritual direction. Her leadership reflects a commitment to creating an educational environment where biblical truth and academic excellence are inseparable.

In addition to her educational leadership, Mrs. Schutter has faithfully served in ministry through Revelation Church, including overseeing the Welcome Team and directing youth camps.

Mrs. Schutter believes that Christian education should prepare students not only for college and careers, but for lives of faithful service to Christ. Her vision is to cultivate a school where every student is known, challenged, and inspired to pursue excellence, think critically, lead with integrity, and fulfill God’s calling for His glory.

She remains committed to advancing the academy’s mission and strengthening its continued growth as a Christ-centered, academically excellent preparatory academy.
